The IES-BASKET School League Championship is among the best social projects in Russia

The IES-BASKET School Basketball League Championship, which is held with the support of the T Plus Group, was included in the top hundred social projects of the Presidential Grants Fund implemented in 2023.

Currently, the municipal stage of the basketball championship is taking place in the Kirov region. 217 teams from 123 schools in the region entered to participate in the IES-BASKET School League competition for the 2024/25 season.

In 2024, the anniversary year for Kirov, the final of the Volga Federal District Championship was held in the regional center. And in 2020, the Kirov region hosted the Superfinal of the basketball tournament. Then the team of Kirovo-Chepetsk schoolchildren defeated the team from St. Petersburg at the Olympus Arena, winning gold medals.
