The co-main fight of the tournament took place in New York (USA) at the Madison Square Garden arena. UFC 309in which the Brazilian fighter met Charles Oliveira (34-10) and American Michael Chandler (23-8), reports Sports.kz.

The lightweight bout was scheduled for five rounds and went the distance. Oliveira celebrated his success with a unanimous decision. Thus, Charles won the 35th victory in his career, and Chandler suffered his ninth defeat in MMA. Video from the fight is presented below.

It is worth noting that this is the second meeting between Oliveira and Chandler in the Octagon. In May 2021, the Brazilian knocked out his opponent in a spectacular fight.
