Kazakh boxer Ablaykhan Khusainov (13-1, 10 KOs) tomorrow, December 28, will fight as part of a boxing evening in Haikou (China), writes Sports.kz.
Khusainov’s opponent will be local athlete Yang Yongqiang (16-0, 12 KOs). The fighters will fight for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental lightweight title.
On the eve of the fight, both opponents underwent a mandatory weigh-in ceremony, at which they met the required weight category limit (up to 61.23 kilograms/135 pounds).
Ablaykhan Khusainov held his previous fight in Dubai (UAE) on September 6, in which he defeated Abdul Azizi Ssebulime (12-2, 7 KOs) from Uganda by technical knockout in the third round.
