— In my first fight, I came as a substitute instead of another fighter from our gym. The first victory was “leverage” (2016). After that, I felt the desire to continue competing in professional MMA. My first fee was 30-40 thousand tenge, I kept 10 for myself, and gave the rest to my parents.
Note that at the Alash Pride 101 tournament in November, Sariev defeated the Brazilian Raulian Paiva (23-5-1), who in 2020 defeated the Kazakh fighter Zhalgas Zhumagulov (17-9-0) in the UFC.
