16-year-old Kazakh striker Beksultan Makysh debuted in USHL and scored the first point for “Dubuque Fighting Saints“, Sports.kz reports with reference to Shaiba.kz.
On December 8, the team played away at the Waterloo Black Hawks; at the end of the second period, the 16-year-old forward gave an assist and helped the red-and-whites take the lead. The Dubuque Fighting Saints won the match 4-3 in overtime.
In a few weeks, Beksultan Makysh will return to the location of the Boston Hockey Academy. This season he played 34 matches, in which he scored 68 (32+36) points. He leads his team's scoring list and ranks fifth in the league in scoring.
