Kazakhstani middleweight boxer Ali Akhmedov (22-1, 16 KOs) plans to fight his next fight on January 17, 2025 in Commerce (California, USA), Sports.kz reports.
Initially, American Ronald Ellis (18-5-2, 12 KOs) was named as Akhmedov’s opponent, but now another US representative, Malcolm Jones (17-4-1, 10 KOs), is listed as Ali’s opponent on the BoxRec.com website. The match is scheduled for ten rounds.
The boxing event is hosted by promoter Tom Loeffler (360 Promotions) and broadcast by UFC Fight Pass.
Let us remember that in the past Ali Akhmedov trained with Gennady Golovkin and repeatedly performed on the undercard of GGG.
