The Kazakh tennis player's match for the final turned into a comeback – Tennis

Kazakhstani tennis player Denis Evseev (218th place in the ranking ATP) failed to make it to the finals of the tournament in Helsinki (Finland)reports Sports.kz.

In the singles semi-finals, Evseev met Italian Luca Nardi (ranked 102nd) and lost to him in three sets. The first set went to the Kazakh player – 6:2, but then his opponent managed to make a comeback and win the tiebreaker in the decisive set – 6:3, 7:6 (6:4). Thus, Nardi reached the final, where he will play with Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori (132nd place).

Let us recall that earlier at the tournament in Helsinki, Denis Evseev defeated the Estonian Oliver Ojakaar (946th place) – 6:2, 6:4, the Italian Federico Arnaboldi (241st place) – 6:2, 6:4 and the Finn Otto Virtanen ( 96th place) – 6:4, 7:5.
