The creation of a strategy for the socio-economic development of the Kirov region began in 2022. More than a thousand people took part in this process. Among the key priorities in the development of the region are issues of social well-being, infrastructure improvement and economic growth.

Thus, the leadership of the Kirov region has set a goal of increasing the population’s income by 2036 by 2.9 times to 112 thousand rubles. In addition, the number of people below the poverty line should be halved over the same time. In turn, they want to increase the gross regional product by 2.8 times by 2036.
