The Kirov region is preparing for the re-release of the regional Red Book on December 26

In the Kirov region they plan to republish the Red Book again. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Environmental Protection.
The department stated that for two years research has been carried out to study rare and endangered plants, mushrooms and animals in the Kirov region. Thanks to this work, the habitats of organisms were examined and the state of populations was described.
Experts discovered 107 species listed in the regional Red Book, of which 23 are in the federal Red Book. Thus, department employees clarified where in the Kirov region the white-tailed eagle continues to live and the lady’s slipper continues to grow.
