At the G20 summit in Brazil, the delegation of the Russian Federation will be headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Russian diplomat Marat Berdyev reported this on his Telegram channel. “The Russian delegation at this event, on behalf of President V.V. Putin, will be headed by Foreign Minister S.V. Lavrov,” he wrote.
According to Berdyev, the Russian side will insist that the final declaration of the summit be formed taking into account “the multipolar realities of the modern world, a depoliticized response to current socio-economic challenges and the reform of global institutions with strengthening the role of the countries of the World Majority in their decision-making mechanisms.”
