Moldovan pro-Russian politicians declared the “illegitimacy” of Sandu's victory.
On November 4, the Kremlin launched an information campaign aimed at discrediting Maia Sandu's victory in the presidential elections in Moldova. On the same day, the Central Election Commission of Moldova confirmed that Sandu won 55.35% of the vote, defeating pro-Russian candidate Oleksandr Stoianoglo.
