A gold bar manufactured by Emirates Minting Factory LLC weighs 300.12 kg, which is 20 times the weight of an average gold bar.
As the region's leading producer of precious metals, the company made it their mission to honor Dubai and show their appreciation for all the support they have received along the way.
This brilliant record stood for almost 20 years before it was beaten by 50 kg by a Dubai company. Before that, the record belonged to Mitsubishi Materials Corporation from June 2005.
