The law on the completion of two almost completed power units of the Khmelnytsky NPP was postponed again
The Verkhovna Rada postponed consideration of the draft law on the completion of power units No. 3 and No. 4 of the Khmelnytsky NPP, which are 80% and 25% ready, respectively.
This was reported by European Solidarity MP Irina Gerashchenko.
This decision was made at the request of opposition parties, which are sabotaging the construction of additional generating capacities.
The postponement of consideration of the law delays the commissioning of two additional power units with a total capacity of 2.2 GW.
All nuclear energy is 100% owned by the state and provides a preferential electricity tariff for the population, which is several times lower than the market price.
