“The main thing is not to fly away”: what do Kirov residents think about the new stops in the city?
According to the city administration, since August 2024, 25 new stops have been installed in Kirov. The cost of the pavilions is 21 million rubles.
In the central part of the city, bus stops on Karl Marx, Lenin, Vorovsky, Moskovskaya, Komsomolskaya and Oktyabrsky Prospekt streets were updated. This year, another 14 new pavilions will be installed on Profsoyuznaya, Preobrazhenskaya, Gorky, Krasin, and Militseiskaya streets.
The work to replace the stops will be completed by the end of November 2024, the mayor’s office promised.
It is worth noting that not all citizens liked the new stops. Someone noted their modern appearance and spoke positively about the presence of the name of the stop on the pavilion. Someone didn't have enough glazing in the pavilion. Some Kirov residents even asked to return the old stops to their place.
