White cabbage continues to rise in price: its price is three times higher than last year.
In Ukraine, there is a limited supply of high-quality white cabbage, which causes an active increase in selling prices in this segment.
This is reported by EastFruit analysts.
Over the past week, the price of high-quality white cabbage in Ukraine has increased from UAH 22/kg ($0.52/kg) to UAH 25–35/kg ($0.60–0.84/kg), which is an average increase of 16%. This increase is due to the limited supply in the market, as many farmers decide to hold on to their produce in anticipation of further price increases in the coming weeks.
