The man received two summonses – he invented how to avoid mobilization – Ukraine


At the court, the man confirmed that he did not want to serve in the army.

In Uzhgorod, a man was sentenced to 3 years in prison, who received two summonses, but declared at the court that he categorically refused to mobilize.

This is stated in the verdict of the Uzhhorod City District Court of the Transcarpathian Region.

According to the court, the man received the first summons in June 2024, but he categorically stated that he would not defend Ukraine. In August 2024, he was served with a summons for military service for mobilization for the second time, but the resident of Uzhgorod refused to be drafted into the army for the second time.

At the court, the man pleaded guilty. He stated that “he refuses to serve in the Armed Forces and now does not want to serve. He is ready to suffer punishment” in order to avoid mobilization.

The court analyzed the case materials and found the man guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 3 years…
