In the temporarily occupied Mariupol of the Donetsk region, a catastrophic situation with water supply has developed due to the shallowing of the Starokrymsky reservoir. This was announced by Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Pyotr Andryushchenko.
He noted that the level of drinking water in the reservoir is rapidly declining.
“The shallowing of the reservoir has been gradually continuing since 2023, but since August 2024 it has been gaining critical speed,” Andryushchenko emphasized.
