Fortunately, this method of torture is no longer used.
A historical torture method known as the “goat's tongue” could cause a person excruciating pain or even death.
According to LADbible, the procedure involved submerging the person in salt water to make their legs more vulnerable to peeling, then securing the unfortunate victim in place so the goat could be properly turned around.
The idea is that the goat will lick the salty feet of the person, and the continuous strokes of the animal's tongue will slowly but steadily rub the skin on the soles of the feet.
While licking the soles of a goat's feet may seem ticklish at first, it must turn into agony as the skin begins to fray.
