The Ministry of Defense promises to develop a draft law on demobilization: details — Ukraine

Currently, it is not known what mechanisms the Ministry of Defense will offer for the release of servicemen from service.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to complete work on the draft law regulating the procedure and conditions for the release of servicemen from service by December 18 this year.

This was reported by Roman Kostenko, secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, in a comment to “Ukrainian Pravda”.

“The committee turned to the Ministry of Defense with an official request to develop a draft law on determining the procedure and conditions for the dismissal of certain categories of military personnel during martial law,” Kostenko emphasized.

According to him, according to the MOU plan, the project will be ready by the deadline set by the parliament – by December 18, 2024.
