The Ministry of Education and Science aims to return at least 100,000 foreign students to Ukraine as soon as possible after the end of the war students.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vynnytskyi stated this in an interview with “Ukrainian Radio”.
Vynnytskyi recalled that before the full-scale invasion, 73,000 foreign students studied in Ukraine, mostly from India, North Africa, the so-called Global South, countries of the post-Soviet space, etc. The vast majority of them — approximately 68,000 — received a medical education.
