The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the European Commission – UNIAN

The Foreign Ministry recalled that Kyiv is forced to purchase electricity abroad due to the war.

Ukraine called on the European Commission to respond to the threats of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to stop electricity supplies. The country is part of the single European energy market.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recalled that Bratislava’s supply of critical volumes of electricity to Kyiv is not charity, because Ukraine pays for it.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that Ukraine is now sometimes forced to import electricity due to the occupation of the Zaporizhia NPP, constant missile attacks on civilian infrastructure, the energy system, generation facilities and distribution…
