Ukraine is actively modernizing its so far only cruise missile, trying to make it more accurate and long-range.
During the war, Ukraine significantly modernized the Neptune anti-ship cruise missile, which sank the cruiser Moskva in April 2022. The commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Alexey Neizhpapa, spoke about this in an interview with Army Inform.
“We entered the elite club that produces cruise missiles. After we sank the Moskva, the Ukrainian Navy even received championship in this club,” he said.
