The Netherlands has transferred the last two of the promised 18 F-16 fighter jets to a training center in Romania where Ukrainian pilots and ground personnel are trained.

The authors of the publication noted that the Netherlands was one of the driving forces behind the international coalition to supply Ukraine with F-16s to strengthen its air defense against a Russian invasion.
“However, the West's delays in forming such an agreement, the length of time required to train pilots, and the limited number of jets transferred have certainly limited their influence,” the article says.
