Nigerian boxer Michael Igwegbe held a match against the Ukrainian Ihor Tsimbalyuk, which took place on December 14 in Kyiv, wearing socks with the inscription “ZSU”.

After the fight, which ended with Tsimbalyuk's victory by a unanimous decision of the judges, the Nigerian thanked all Ukrainians and said that he would donate part of his fee to the needs of the Armed Forces. Igwegbe was later confirmed to have kept his promise.
