The number of criminal offenses in Ukraine committed with the use of weapons and ammunition has increased 42 times compared to the pre-war year 2021.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Tymchenko said this in an interview with “Interfax-Ukraine”.
According to his information:
- It was registered in 2021 273 such crimes
- in 2022, the number of these crimes increased by over 4.6 times – 1,267,
- in 2023 there were 11 186,
