The nutritionist named the daily protein intake necessary for health – Nutrition

Consulting nutritionist, deputy director of the ANO Scientific Research Center “Healthy Nutrition” Alexey Kabanov named the amount of protein per day necessary for health, Sports.kz reports with reference to Ferra.ru.

The expert, in a conversation with OSN, emphasized that the share of protein should be at least 15% of the daily calorie intake, preferably of plant origin or from dietary meats. Kabanov noted that excess sugar and saturated fats can trigger the development of vascular diseases, heart disease and diabetes.

At the same time, plant proteins can saturate and protect the body from exceeding the daily calorie intake. If necessary, plant foods can be replaced with meat, but preferably low-fat varieties: chicken, turkey, rabbit.
