In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russians are trying to erase any memories of one of the greatest tragedies of our nation, destroying monuments and museum exhibits that remind of the famine that took the lives of millions of Ukrainians.

“At the same time, the occupiers called on everyone who would light memorial candles on Saturday or show other signs of grief to surrender. With such intimidation, the enemy wants to erase the national memory of Ukrainians. However, these intentions are futile, because for Ukrainians the life of a compatriot means much more than the life of Russians for Russians. which no one appreciates,” the message reads.
