The occupiers sentenced 9 defenders of Mariupol
Ukrainian prisoners of war will serve sentences ranging from 24 years of imprisonment to life imprisonment.
In occupied Donetsk, the so-called “DNR court” sentenced nine servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported in the press service of the Mariupol City Council.
Among the convicts are soldiers of the 36th separate marine infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Andriy Shestak, Nazarii Moroz, Vladyslav Yavorskyi, Vadym Shulga, Serhiy Yampolskyi, Maksym Kolbasin, Dmytro Shalara, Volodymyr Penzin and Kostyantyn Romanyuk.
All of them defended Mariupol from the Russian invaders, were on the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant, and then were captured by the Russians.
