The oldest stone tablet with 10 commandments will be sold for 2 million dollars
Everyone can become the owner of a piece of ancient history.
A paving stone later found to be the oldest known stone tablet with the 10 Commandments is now up for auction for as little as $2 million.
LADbible writes about it.
A cobblestone used in front of a house in Israel turned out to be a 1,500-year-old tablet with the inscription of biblical commandments. Perhaps the strangest part of this story is the fact that the plaque was found near a railroad track in 1913, but its significance was not realized at the time. Instead, the slab, 60 cm high and weighing 52 kg, was recycled and used as paving stones near someone's house.
Laid face up and exposed to the elements, countless people walked across the slab for 30 years until someone noticed the significance of the ancient inscription.
The plaque is written in a long-forgotten language…
