Representative of the Kazakhstan table tennis team Alan Kurmangaliev reached the 1/8 finals of the youth world championship in Helsingborg (Sweden), Sports.kz reports with reference to Olympic.kz.
In the opening round of the singles, Kurmangaliev defeated Yulain Batiks from Cameroon.
Today, November 27, Alan will play for a place in the 1/4 finals against the German Andre Bertelsmeier.
Let us note that Kurmangaliev is the only Kazakhstani who managed to make it to the World Cup.
