The operation to release the hostages in the suburbs of Paris has been completed: details

In the town of Issy-le-Moulineau near Paris, law enforcement officers managed to free the hostages who were taken by the son of the owner of the pizzeria “L'Olivier”.

The man who took four restaurant employees hostage around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday agreed to release them three hours later after the intervention of the anti-terrorist unit of the police.

According to journalists, none of the hostages was injured.

The police reported that the attacker was arrested. The prosecutor's office has started an investigation into the incident. As part of the investigation, a psychiatric examination of the suspect has been ordered.

So far, the police have not reported why the son of the owner of the pizzeria “L'Olivier” decided to take the restaurant's employees hostage.
