The man claims that there was an explosion outside the plane. The hull was damaged, and debris even penetrated his vest.
A passenger on the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Aktau (Kazakhstan), Subkhonkul Rakhimov, published a video from inside the plane shortly before the crash, Radio Azattyk reports.
The footage shows the situation in the cabin when the plane was still in Russian airspace. Rakhimova claims that the pilots tried three times to land the plane in Grozny, but during the third attempt an explosion occurred, but not in the middle of the airliner.
“There was an explosion – I wouldn’t say it was inside the plane. Where I was sitting, the skin next to me flew off… I took the vest, I looked: there was a hole in the vest – a shrapnel had pierced. After this explosion, right between my legs – somewhere there's this one…
