This was stated by the high representative of the EU for foreign policy and security policy, Kaya Kallas, at the meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the EU countries, writes “Evropeyska Pravda”.
“Peace is needed first before sending peacekeepers. But Russia does not want peace. This is clear,” she stated.
Kallas mentioned the interview of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with Tucker Carlson, from which it is clear that Russia has not given up on its goals.
“We cannot discuss this,” said the representative of the EU.
Earlier, Kallas stated that the appearance of foreign troops in Ukraine cannot be ruled out. In particular, Europe can play a role in this.
