The Pentagon provided Ukraine with a $988 million package of HIMARS missiles and drones
The USA continues to help Ukraine.
The US Ministry of Defense announced the allocation of a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 988 million dollars.
This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the official statement of the Pentagon.
The new package, which is provided within the framework of the Initiative to promote the security of Ukraine, provides for the allocation of ammunition for missile systems, UAVs, maintenance and repair of weapons.
In particular, it includes:
- rockets for HIMARS;
- drones;
- equipment, components and spare parts for maintenance and repair of artillery systems and armored vehicles.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the US Congress will not vote for additional aid to Ukraine.
In addition, we previously informed that Blinken announced aid for Ukraine in the entire amount of $61 billion.
