Russia may soon relaunch its deadly new medium-range ballistic missile against Ukraine, which the president of the aggressor state, Vladimir Putin, calls the “Hazelnut.”
This was stated by Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh during a briefing on Wednesday, December 11, the Associated Press reports.
According to her, the attack can be carried out “in the next few days”.
She added that the US does not consider this Oreshnik missile to be a game-changer on the battlefield, and stressed that the Russians are “trying to use every weapon they have in their arsenal to intimidate Ukraine.”
