In the morning, December 13, relatives were drinking alcoholic beverages. After the feast, one of the brothers grabbed the animal and threw it off the balcony. Neighbors who saw this called the police, and the injured dog with a fractured spine was taken to the clinic.
This was reported to the police department of the Ternopil region.
“The investigative and operative group of the Ternopil District Police Department went to the scene. During the inspection, the law enforcement officers found out that the dog was taken from the street several months ago by cousins,” the report says.
Currently, police officers are determining which of the relatives behaved this way with the dog. The issue of opening criminal proceedings in accordance with Article 299 (Cruel treatment of animals) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved. In progress…
