The Prosecutor General's Office of Slovakia will conduct a review of Prime Minister Robert Fico's actions in connection with his visit to Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported on Friday, December 27, by the Slovak publication Aktuality.
The inspection will be conducted at the request of the “Peace of Ukraine” public association, which on Monday, December 23, held a protest against Fico's visit to Putin in front of the government building in Bratislava.
“The subject initiative of the public association was transferred to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Slovak Republic. It will be considered in accordance with the law,” said Yana Tekelyova, spokeswoman of the department.
