Former Kazakhstan national team player Evgeniy Averchenko shared his opinion with Sports.kz about the goalkeeper’s transfer “Aktobe”Igor Shatsky to Karaganda “Miner”.
— Quite an unexpected transition. Igor is a player of the Kazakhstan national team, he is 35 years old, which is not that old for a goalkeeper. He could still play in the KPL. Perhaps he simply decided to finish out his career at his home club and help them return to the Premier League. Then his move to Aktobe for one season is incomprehensible. For me personally, this is a rather strange decision. But this is Shatsky’s choice and must be respected,” the specialist said.
Let us remind you that last KPL season Shatsky played 24 matches for Aktobe, in which he missed 26 goals….
