Former world professional super flyweight champion IBA Marat Mazimbaev shared his opinion with Sports.kz about the performance at championship of Kazakhstan Sabyrkhan Torekhana and assessed his future prospects.
— Sabyrkhan had a good tournament in Karaganda. He is a great fellow and I congratulate him on becoming the champion of Kazakhstan at the age of 18. Not every boxer is capable of immediately becoming a national champion among adults after youth. I hope that he will not stop there and that we can expect a lot from him. I wish him further success and no injuries,” the specialist said.
It should be noted that Torekhan Sabyrkhan became the champion of Kazakhstan in the weight category up to 67 kilograms and was recognized as the best boxer of the tournament.
