The Russian occupying army began to feel the lack of military equipment immediately after the full-scale invasion.
The Russian armed forces began to use in the war against Ukraine equipment that previously served as props at the Mosfilm film studio.
This was reported by The Moscow Times with reference to the statement of the director of the film studio, Karena Shakhnazarov.
At a meeting with the president of the aggressor state, Vladimir Putin, the head of “Mosfilm” announced that 28 T-55 tanks, eight PT-76 tanks, six infantry fighting vehicles and eight tractors from the studio military-technical base were transferred to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“I found out that there are needs, I contacted the Ministry of Defense – they took away these cars,” said Shakhnazarov.
