On Wednesday, November 13, the Russian invaders made an attempt to break through the Ukrainian defense line in the Kupyan direction. At the same time, some of the Russian soldiers were dressed in uniforms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The message emphasized that such actions of the occupiers violate the laws and rules of warfare and are a war crime.
“Enemy assault groups attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in four waves. In total, the enemy used about 15 units of equipment. In particular, tanks, armored combat vehicles and the UR-77 demining installation,” the General Staff added.
Despite the trick of dressing in Ukrainian uniforms, the enemy was not successful during the assault.
