In the war against Ukraine, the Russian army of occupation is using an unknown wheeled self-propelled artillery system (SAU).
This is reported by the “Military” portal with reference to a video published by the Russian media.
The new self-propelled howitzer has the same layout and guidance elements as the 152-mm self-propelled howitzer 2C43 “Malva”. But in its artillery part, a long-range 2A36 “Hyacinth-B” gun is used.
This increases the maximum firing range of self-propelled guns with conventional high-explosive munitions from 24.7 km to 30.5 km and active-reactive projectiles from 29 km to 33.1 km.
