The Russians can capture Kupyansk and Kurakhove before the end of the year – Stupak
The expert stressed that for Putin “Kurshchyna is still closer”, but warned of a threat to the two Ukrainian cities.
Russian troops will not capture any regional center of Ukraine until the end of 2024. However, with a high probability, the enemy may occupy two smaller cities in the east.
Ivan Stupak, a military expert and ex-employee of the SBU, expressed this opinion in an interview with Oboz.ua.
The expert answered the question whether it would be a nice New Year's gift for the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to capture one of the regional centers of Ukraine. Stupak appreciated this danger.
