The SBU detained the adjuster who provided the coordinates of the Russian Federation for drone attacks


The perpetrator is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a 23-year-old local resident in Sumy, who acted as a fire adjuster for the Russian military. As the investigators found out, he provided coordinates for the attacks of Russian kamikaze drones of the Shahed type, which led to the tragedy on October 22, when three civilians, including a 9th-grader, died as a result of an enemy strike.

This was reported by the SBU.

The man collected information about geolocations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, traveling around the territory of Sumy and surrounding areas in his car, where he secretly photographed objects that interested him. He was in direct contact with a personnel officer of the Russian Main Directorate of the General Staff, transmitting videos of potential targets through an anonymous instant messenger chat…
