The scandal with the alleged transfer of air defense troops to the infantry: ex-spokesman of the PS Ignat commented

Ignat explained who exactly from the air defense units is being transferred to the infantry.

The transfer to the infantry creates problematic issues with personnel within the Air Force, but the effectiveness of air defense in Ukraine remains quite high.

This was stated by the Ukrainian military officer, former spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuriy Ignat, commenting on the statement of the British publication The Guardian that the General Staff is allegedly ordering air defense units to transfer their soldiers to the infantry.
