Kirov residents reported the appearance of smoke in one of the city schools. The information came from readers of progorod43.ru.

According to eyewitnesses, on the morning of Friday, November 15, school No. 54 in Kirov was evacuated, which is located in the Pobela Park microdistrict on Sormovskaya Street, 38. The alarm was not educational: the children smelled burning, some of them did not have time to get dressed during the evacuation.

The incident was commented on by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kirov region. The department confirmed that the fire alarm system in the building went off. Fire crews were dispatched to the scene. The smoke was caused by food burning in the kitchen. No one was hurt. The children returned to classes.
