The search for a girl who fell through the ice continues in Kirovo-Chepetsk on November 14

A search operation continues in Kirovo-Chepetsk, launched after an incident with two girls on the ice of the Vyatka River. Details were reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov region.

On Thursday, November 14, in Kirovo-Chepetsk, rescuers again began to examine the banks of the river, and divers again plunged to the bottom. The divers scanned the entire underwater surface downstream of the Vyatka for several tens of meters. However, they only managed to find the missing girl's hat.

Rescuers say that the child who plunged under the ice is highly likely to have died. Another schoolgirl who managed to stay on the surface is under medical supervision. Her condition is satisfactory. Investigative authorities are continuing their investigation.
