“Fast Thai Somchai Wongsuwan has ten years of experience in international tournaments and used the right tactics against Kazakh Olympian from Paris Muhammedsabir Bazarbayuly in the quarter-final bout at welterweight (63.5 kg). The 28-year-old Thai was a difficult target for the young Kazakh and his counter-attacking boxing style decided the outcome of their quarter-final fight in Chiang Mai.
