Uzbek boxer Turabek Khabibullaev successfully started performance at Asian Boxing Championship 2024 in Chiang Mai (Thailand)reports Sports.kz.
In his first fight at the tournament, at the 1/8 final stage in the weight category up to 80 kilograms, Khabibullaev fought with boxer from Tajikistan Abdumalik Boltaev. The result of this confrontation was the victory of the Uzbekistani by unanimous decision of the judges.
Thus, Turabek Khabibullaev became a quarterfinalist of the Asian Championship and continues to fight for medals, and Abdumalik Boltaev finished his performance at this tournament ahead of schedule.
