Intense fighting continues in the Kupyan region, but the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the defense.

Yury Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles UAV battalion, said this on the air of “KYIV24”.

He emphasized that at the moment the occupiers are unable to implement their plan.

“The enemy thought that he would be able to quickly pass and expand this wedge. But it did not happen as expected. Our Defense Forces backed up, the enemy does not have a quick advance,” – claims “Achilles”.

Previously, it was said that there is an increase in enemy activity in the Lymano-Kupian direction, which has been going on for three weeks. The Russians changed their tactics and now began to attack the positions of the Armed Forces with large infantry groups.
